Taking first and second in the shot put were the Cardinals’ Hank Artz and Sawyer Tordsen with throws of 48 feet, 3.25 inches, and 42-11, while the Bucs’ Luke Norman and Jack Norman finished third and fourth with throws of 40-2 and 40-0. Gage Cyphers, Maakestad, Geiger and Artz ran the Cardinals to first place in the 4X400-meter relay with a time of 3:35.0 and the foursome of Austin Stauffer, Skaden, Thomas Golly and Martinez took fourth at 4:02.0.įairmont was the only team to field a 4X800-meter relay. The Cardinals and Bucs took the top spot and runner-up in the 4X200-meter relay as Meade, Blaze Geiger, Carson Pomerenke and Trey Tumbleson won with a time of 1:37.0 and Gage Barker, Norman, Aaron Lorenz and Grandgenett placed second with a time of 1:39.9. BEA’s ‘A’ team of Waylen Douglas, Bruk Sonnicksen, Austin Skaden and Jack Norman took third at 48.6. In the 4X100 relay, Fairmont’s ‘A’ squad won as Meade, David Maakestad, James Johnson and Artz had a time of 45.8.
Gavin Artner and Landon Weber of Fairmont ran times of 10:58.3 and 12:40.8 to take runner-up and fourth in the 3,200-meter run, while the Cardinals swept the 300-meter hurdles with Ethan Geerdes, Landon Gilbertson and Jaron Schultz posting timesof 45.3, 45.5 and 49.1. In the 1,600-meter run, Will Niestrath, Ty Nawrocki and Andrew Haugen finished second, third and fourth with times of 5:19.7, 5:25.2 and 5:27.8, respectively.
